Chairman's Message

A humble beginning in 1996 with limited resources and many dreams for the next generation, this is how GNG came into existence. When you start thinking beyond yourself, things start talking shape, your vision gets clearer, your attitude more positive, your outlook more responsive and you are filled with infinite energy to face the challenges and convert chance into opportunities. We are trading the passage of time, where the past is a process to learn , the present is to act and the future is to plan. Let us leave footprints for the next generation to follow , so that life is simpler and meaningful. Let us together endeavour cumulative growth.

About Our Chairman

Shri S.K. Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, GNG Group; is a product of Kirorimal College, University of Delhi. After leaving the family business of Timber in Rohtak, he started his journey alone with small trading activities in electrical sector way back in 1996, gradually entering in rural electrification projects through various government schemes like RGVVY, APDRP etc. Within  a span of a few years, because of his persistent efforts, hard work and leadership, GNG became a known name in power infrastructure projects lighting hundreds of villages and thousands of rural houses in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir.

Under his leadership, with an aim to make the life of rural people simpler by providing basic services through a single window, GNG set up almost 3000 ICT enabled kiosks in the panchayats of rural Himachal and Bihar. These centers not only provided products and services at the last mile but also gave employment and income opportunities to rural people.

For last few years he has set out on a mission to promote use of waste for better purpose specially in the case of urban and rural waste. He has been working with senior agricultural scientists on low cost solutions for improving soil health using urban and rural waste.

His vision is a society where equal opportunities exist for everyone to show his/her caliber and competence.  His heart beats for the rural, poorest of the poor and their women and children.  He always aims to simplify the life of the elderly so that they can live their twilight years with pride and satisfaction and contribute their experience and expertise to the society.  Towards this end, he has started a Second Innings Club which will work for the elderly.

In last 5 years, he has been actively participating in highlighting various industry related issues as the Vice President of Delhi Productivity Council (DPC). He has been focused on creating awareness about Circular Economy and how it is the need of the hour.

In his words:

“When you start thinking beyond yourself, things start taking shape, your vision gets clearer, your attitude more positive, your outlook more responsive and you are filled with infinite energy to face the challenges and convert chances into opportunities not only for yourself but for the society as a whole.” And that’s why the vision of GNG is “Endeavoring Cumulative Growth”
